COMENTARY:

Total exports of Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina was 322,302 thousands of KM in November 2009, which is 25,472 thousands of KM or 7.3% less than in October 2009 and 26,651 thousands of KM or 7.6% less than in November 2008.
Total imports of Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina was 686,483 thousands of KM in November 2009, which is 92,797 thousands of KM or 11.9% less than in October 2009 and 149,038 thousands of KM or 17.8% less than in November 2008.

In November 2009 the Federation of B&H shared 64.4% in total exports of B&H. The share in total B&H imports was 69.1%.

The exports/imports ratio of the Federation of B&H was 46.9% in November 2009. This is 2.3% more than in October 2009 when ratio was 44.6%.

Trade deficit of the Federation of B&H for November 2009 is 364,181 thousands of KM.

According to NACE: In November 2009 the biggest share in exports had section D ''Manufacturing'' with the value 293,712 thousands KM, and with 91.1% share in total exports. The biggest share in imports had section D ''Manufacturing'' with the value 607,106 thousands KM, and with 88.4% share in total imports.

In November 2009 the biggest share in exports had section 6 SITC ''Industrial products classified primarily by raw material'' with the value 87,826 thousands KM, and with 27.2% share in total exports. The biggest share in imports had section 7 SITC ''Machinery and transport equipment'' with the value 154,044 thousands KM, and with 22.4% share in total imports.

In November 2009 top 3 countries in exports were: Germany 62,393 thousands KM or 19.4% share in total exports; Croatia 55,535 thousands KM or 17.2% share and Serbia 41,550 thousands KM or 12.9% share. Exports to all other countries was 162,824 thousands KM or 50.5% share in total exports. Top 3 countries in imports were: Croatia 118,488 thousands KM or 17.3% share in total imports; Germany 92,081 thousands KM or 13.4% share and Italy 59,627 thousands KM or 8.7% share. Imports from all other countries was 416,287 thousands KM or 60.6% share in total imports.

Detailed data of external trade of the Federation of B&H will be disseminated in Monthly Statistical Review of the Federation of B&H.
